The cartoon emphasizes one of the bad sides of the internet.It tries to tell us that internet is such a thing that it can cause you to be unaware of the real world.You create a virtual world to live and you begin to forget the real world if you spend too much time on the net.You can’t realize what is being around you but the world continues to move.I agree with this cartoon because what it says is true.The internet can convert you to another person who lives in a different place.
First,people can have some problems in terms of daily duties and responsibilities.For example,we can neglect our families.It can cause you to be less concerned with the family members.While you are expected to help your child on her/his homeworks or your wife on chores,you don’t even bother to asist.You live your own world.This can cause marriages to end.
People can experience some problems in terms of socialization as they stay at the computer for a long time.For instance,some people play some online games and they get used to them over time.One of the popular games is farmville nowadays.People who play this game always think about it.Their minds are busy with this game.They consider whether my fruits and vegetables have matured,whether my cows,chickens have yielded.They wait to go home and look at the game impatiently,they don’t devote time to do something that is interesting and different apart from playing the game.This cause them to be lonely and asocial person.
This cartoon teaches us that we should know our responsibilities,we should behave like a real person not a virtual one in this real world.Everything has a time and place.More of everything is harmful.
My friend, I feel the same way with you ,so I want to comment on your writing. Nowadays ,facebook /twitter or other social media tools take our entire time without any concrete benefit.We feel like we have 894 friends but we do not have even 5 friends to talk when we are upset. There are many responsibilities we need to do but we do not focus on them. According to studies we sign in our facebook account 3-4 times in a day for half an hour or so.It means it is 2 hours in a day and 14 hours in a week. Thinking it in that way makes me realize how much time we waste on PC.
YanıtlaSilAlso , in your earlier writings I saw TV addiction which is another strong subject to write. In soap Operas I do not want to talk to anyone or my father do not want to listen to me when watches a football match.It is clear that modern life and tecnologic devices fall apart individuals.Furthermore,the Turkish spare their approximately 4 hours by watching TV. The rate raises because most of the housewives watches TV almost whole day. I wish we can find an alternative job like reading a book or knitting something.
