The internet is a network of Networks which consist of millions of private,public academic,business and government Networks,of local to globe scope.Internet is like a knife.As long as it is used for beneficial things,it is precious.Great benefits of the internet can’t be denied we can reach many libraries at our homes thanks to internet.It is possible to read a lot of newspapers and magazines there.It has countless good sides.The internet has also negative sides if it is not used properly.The lifeless things on their own are neither good nor bad.Its benefits or damages are related to your using form.Some of the negative sides of the internet are these:First,there are virtual casinos on the net.Its damages weren’t distinct previously because casinos used to gather at certain points and it was difficult to enter these places.But today,everyone who wants can gamble.They fade their lives out because of the virtual casinos.Second,the internet allows matchmaking and reaching inappropriate sites.Children whose ages,psychologies,knowledges aren’t suitable for such sites are confronted with the danger of growing up with irregular and perverted psychologies.Third,the internet has social losses .We can tell these under subheadings.
*It is harmful to children’s intellectual developments and their developments in terms of social values.
*It can be a reason for creating an asocial youth.
*It causes us not to use our language in a good way.We are using some strange abbreviations instead of saying properly.
*It is a reason for the corruption of the culture.
*It causes our national and moral feelings to become blunt.
*It is a reason for forming a brand addicted society because of advertorials.
*It eliminates the habit of reading book.
*It is a waste of time.
I wanted to write about this because i wanted to remind people who are addicted to the internet and spend a lot of time on the net(this including me) that internet is good and enjoyable,we can spend so much time without having a break on the net but it menaces us in many respects.I had a penpal formerly.We used to write letters to each other.We used to share our feelings and thoughts.When we had a letter,we used to have excitement and happiness.After we had shared our e-mails with each other,we lost these feelings.Now,there are no letters that are full of feelings and that are written long,there are icy e-mails which have a few words.Internet creates an insincere environment.Internet’s bad facts should be known by everybody,I think people can tell their stories about bad experiences they had before.Thus,awareness can be more permanent.Interesting facts will draw attention.
