ORGANIZING PARAGRAPH

1.Our beagle loves hunting.The back door is opened for her by someone.After she barrels down porch,she steps into yard.While she is running back and forth across the lawn in ecstasy,her nose also cruises the wet gross for smells.These are the smells of cats,rabbits and other presences that can’t be detected by human-being.While she sniffs,she also spins her tail in quick circles.Its first spin is clockwise and its second spin is in the opposite direction of the first one.These two activities ocur consecutively.Sniffing and spinning are the names of these activities.They help propel her along.

2.The Government Printing Office which is a source of much useful information is located on Washington D.C but it is known by few people.It is the official publishing house of the federal government.The GPO publishes pamphlets and boks on a vast number of subjects which range from the dangers of X-rays from home TV sets to the identification of mushrooms.The Superintendent of Documents offers about 27.000 publications many of which are inexpensive.Moreover;there isn’t any charge at all for some of them.

3.A man who is called Jacob Astor reaped America’s first fortune.He was an immigrant of German.He earned his first Money by trading Indian Furs.He was an uneducated person.He couldn’t learn to speak English properly.He carried on his business to the end in an accent which was redolent of the Hamburg gutters.
